Up next is the “Mile High House” EP from the hugely talented Deep House Souldiers from Kentucky, Matthew Bandy and Joel Jackson.

The remix for this release comes from none other than Moulton Studio main man Chris Lum. From vinyl pusher at San Francisco’s BPM records to Grammy Nominee, Chris has risen through the House Music ranks to command a well-deserved spot at the top. With releases and remixes on Hooj, Defected, NRK, Strictly Rhythm and of course Tango, Chris has established a reputation as a solid producer, with a unique style and distinctive sound.

The original of “Far Away” is a jazz infused groove with flowing keys, smooth horns and tight drums, which is bound to appeal to anyone with soul. On the remix Chris Lum creates what is in our opinion one of his best tracks to date, with a tweaked out bassline and synth stabs, while retaining the original’s horn work. Through the diversity of the 2 mixes, this is an EP you will dig out of your bag twice in the same night.
